Under the Affordable Care Act (ACA), large employers are subject to “pay or play” requirements beginning in 2014. On Jan. 2, 2013, the IRS released proposed regulations on various aspects of ACA’s employer penalty provisions. This Legislative Brief provides an overview of these proposed regulations.
