CBSI GOOD NEWS and a twist!

We could not wait until the end of the month to share this Good News so we are doing a surprise Good News story.

Thanks to Jadyn Childs for organizing such an amazing, moving, peaceful march in Hightstown, NJ!

We are all moved by the picture of Officer Phillip Esposito with Jadyn and his father at the march. We are hopeful that positive peaceful conversations continue in our community and other communities. Hopeful that we all may be Slow to Speak and Quick to Listen. We also commend the Hightstown Police Department

for their willingness to “stand” with the many young voices by taking a knee with them.

In fact, we wanted to put our money where our mouth was so we decided to give two donations of $250 this month!

We are honored to offer a donation of $250 in Jadyn’s honor to the GoFundMe of David McAtee.

In a beautiful twist, the Hightstown Police Department offered their $250 donation to BeTheLi9ht Foundation (formerly Fly High Coby). BeTheLi9ht is a nonprofit that my wife, Rachelle St. Phard and I started in honor of our son Coby who died by suicide in 2016. BeTheLi9ht focuses on and partners with organizations to eliminate the stigma of mental illness,as well as suicide prevention measures.

Thank you Sgt. Miller and Chief Gendron for your kind donation and special thanks to Officer Esposito and all the police officers for the interest you took in the young people of our town.
